SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

We welcome a wide spectrum of research subjects and forms. We explicitly welcome diverse and creative approaches to research both in form and subject as a means to deconstruct harmful hierarchies of knowledge production. You are free to direct the article in whichever direction you desire depending on your own areas of knowledge and experience.

Once you send us your pitch, we will discuss it with you and support you in your writing process by first coupling you with one primary editor and then subjecting the second-to-final draft to a peer review by another member of our research team. Deadlines are subject to discussion. We emphasize open communication, consent, and mutual learning in the editing process.

  • Examples of forms:

    • Research essays

    • Op-eds

    • Poems

    • Memoirs

    • Policy briefs

    • Investigative reports

    • Toolkits

    • Interviews

    • Reviews (of books, films, articles, etc.)

  • A combination of any of these
