Mission & Vision
Pour Nous’ vision is a Sciences Po free from racism. Guided by an explicit institutional commitment to being actively anti-racist, we envision:
A Sciences Po where all students, no matter their identities, are treated equally.
A Sciences Po where the curriculum and hiring practices are shaped by a ready acknowledgment of the living legacy of colonialism.
A Sciences Po that matches its ambition “to train [the next generation of] open-minded decision-makers” with a demonstrated commitment to actively create a learning environment that encourages critical questioning on the role of race in today’s society.
A Sciences Po that is truly Pour Nous tous (for us all).
Pour Nous is a student collective advocating for a truly inclusive Sciences Po that lives up to its ambition of training innovative and responsible decision-makers motivated to dismantle systems of oppression throughout their careers. We seek to hold Sciences Po accountable in its duty to actively challenge the perpetuation of neocolonial perspectives and discriminatory realities through its pedagogy, its systems, and its failure to respectfully address race-based discrimination against its students. This duty was born from its colonial legacy and has matured under the custodianship of a white senior leadership team. It is a duty due to all of the BIPOC individuals, communities, and countries tied to Science Po’s past and present.
